This is the reason why we have been insisting on in-house production.
There are 5 standard book binding types, including hardcover books, paperback books, spiral bound books, board books and saddle stitched books. In addition to the standard binding types, Gobook Printing also offers customized binding service for bulk orders, like organ folding board books and paperback books with drilled holes on the spine.
The special finishes are normally applied on the cover of books. For the glossy and matte lamination on the cover, they usually protect the cover from abrasion or liquid to make the books more durable. For gold foil, silver foil, UV varnish, debossing and embossing, they could make part of your design stand out and catch the attention of readers in the first time, which are used more for book titles.
This is the last step before books in the hands of customers. We know that the packing and shipping will decide whether all the books could arrive intact. 5 layers extra strong cartons will be used and also there will be waterproof bag available inside the carton. For the outside packing, we will use wood pallet with caps to protect the inner cartons. Together with the plastic wrap outside the pallet, your books will arrive at your warehouse 100% safe.
